Here at Josh.ai, we’re all about simplicity. We strive to make the interface between users and technology one that is intuitive and natural.

As any user of new technology, you may be intimidated or confused on how to speak to a voice controlled home automation system. With Josh, we put a lot of effort into making the experience so easy, you should just be able to start using it.

To get you started, we’ve put together a series of quick 20–30 second videos that help you get acquainted with your new Josh system. Check out the latest below.

Setting timers is easy with Josh. Simply wake up your Micro and tell Josh to set a timer with a command like, “Okay Josh, set a 5 minute timer.” Once set, feel free to go about your business until the Micro alerts you.

Josh also gives you the ability to set multiple timers at once. For example, you can say, “Okay Josh, set a 20 minute cooking timer,” and Josh will understand that this timer is assigned as the “cooking timer.” By naming a timer, you’re able to check back in and ask your Micro how much time is left on that specific timer, or cancel it completely.

Timers are tools that can help make your day-to-day life a little easier. This is yet another way that Josh allows you to interact with your home in the most intuitive and natural way possible.
