Where are you from originally? Colorado, born and raised!

What do you love about the smart home? Scheduled scenes, and ease of modifying devices from my iPhone. I regularly turn off my Sonos Sub and rear speakers with the flip of a couple toggle switches in the app when my kids are asleep.
\What are you most excited about over the next few years? I am looking forward to devices/companies working more seamlessly together (i.e. Matter). I believe we have gotten past the “proprietary” design and implementation. The more devices that can work and communicate with others, the easier it will make all of our lives!
iPhone or Android? iPhone, hands down
What do you do for fun? I enjoy spending as much time as I can with my wife and 2 kids. We like to go boating in the summers, take mountain trips in the winters, watch movies (I am a self proclaimed movie buff). Also, a sport I really enjoy playing is 4x4 volleyball.
If you could go anywhere, where would it be? Italy! I am of Italian heritage, and would love to visit!
Favorite restaurant in the world? That is a tough question, there are too many good choices out there! I love BBQ, Italian food, Mexican food, and a good breakfast burrito!
Favorite IoT / smart home product? As common as an answer as it may be, I’d have to say Sonos. They revolutionized the home audio market, and made it easy for just about anyone to enjoy streaming music in any room of the house. Any time a friend or family member asks me for tech help on their home AV system, I always recommend Sonos because it just can’t be beat!
What is your favorite feature of Josh? I really enjoy how Josh is intuitive, and easy to use. I appreciate when complex things (such as home automation) can be easy to set up, and fun to use. When you compare how you “program” Josh to how other systems are programmed, it’s undeniable that Josh has something truly unique and special!
Favorite books / reading material / websites? As a self proclaimed movie buff, I spend more time than I would like to admit reading up on movies and actors. I like movie trivia, and learning about lesser known facts about anything. I like to say that I have a degree in useless information from all the random facts and trivia I find.
