Here’s a little from Corey in his own words:
“I started my AV career at HSI (Home Systems Integrated) in Scottsdale AZ in 1994 prewiring new construction homes. After two years I was managing the prewire crews. In 1997 I left HSI and accepted a job at Showcase Home Entertainment in Scottsdale as a lead installer. In 1999 Showcase was bought out by Sound Advice (FL company) and then sold to Tweeter. Before leaving Tweeter, I finished Crestron 101 through 103 training and became a Project Manager for the busiest showroom in Tweeter’s 100+ locations. In 2008 I started working for TheaterX in Scottsdale as a Crestron Programmer, System Designer, and Project Manager. In 2013 I accepted a job with Immedia in Scottsdale. Immedia is mostly a Commercial AV company and they hired me to help them get more into the residential market.
“In 2017 I attended the Voice Control class at CEDIA. Alex Capecelatro and Tim Gill (Josh.ai CEO and CTO) were the instructors for that class. I worked with Josh.ai to get Immedia set up as a dealer and integrated two Micros in Immedia’s showroom with Crestron and a single Micro at my house. When the opportunity to work for Josh.ai came up I had to jump on it. I worked with Immedia on an exit strategy and they have been very supportive with my move to Josh.ai. I am very excited to be a part of the Josh team and look forward to the future.”

Favorite IoT / smart home product? Not sure, I have personally only had Crestron in my home. I have interacted with many different IoT devices and I am guessing the lighting devices like Lutron Maestro would be at the top of my list.
What is your favorite feature of Josh? The super-easy scene setup.
Favorite books / reading material / websites? Usually war history books or off-road material.
