Everything that we do at Josh.ai is with our clients in mind. As far as their privacy is concerned, we understand the sensitive nature of the data and information that we may have access to. With that responsibility in mind, we do not share data for marketing or sales purposes and give users complete control over the amount of information they want to share with Josh. The Josh product ecosystem makes privacy a significant feature for any property, expanding upon the notion of total home control to include information security.
For example, Josh Nano includes a built-in privacy switch that physically disconnects its microphones. A double-tap on Josh Micro’s capacitive touch dial performs a similar microphone mute action. Clients can also easily mute the microphones across their property using the Josh app if the occasion calls for discretion. Unlike other mass market assistants, which have been known to always listen to what is going on in the background, Josh only hears what is said after it has been woken up by its wake phrase. Users can then review their chat history to see what was heard and make adjustments from there.
Privacy and Safety
Beyond data security, Josh integrates with many terrific door locks, surveillance cameras, and access control stations. We understand that physical safety and security are just as important when considering how technology can contribute to your peace of mind. That is why Josh is always exploring ways to make its access control features more intelligent along with expanding its abilities with key integration partners.
Seamlessly access your door locks with Lockitron, Yale, and many other brands via voice as well as the Josh app. A unique feature of lock access with Josh is that users are able to lock a lock with voice commands, however unlocking must be done manually through the Josh app. This is another way that Josh is making your home safer since voice recognition is not accurate enough yet to understand with absolute certainty who is giving commands.
