With new technology announcements and planned innovation on the roadmap, Crestron has proven itself as a technology leader in the custom channel. Last month, Josh.ai had the privilege to be included in the Crestron partner summits that took place in New York, Florida, and Los Angeles, with the opportunity to educate industry partners on voice as well as artificial intelligence in the home.

While Josh provides intuitive control through an elegant array of interfaces, partnering with Crestron enables the most complete and custom user experience. We are proud to offer our integrations with Crestron’s SIMPL and Pyng platforms to set the standard for the luxury home.

A Few of Our Summit highlights:

1. Panel

John Clancy (Crestron), Architect Shane Ames, CEO Alex (Josh.ai), Bryan Celli (Crestron)

Josh.ai CEO Alex had the chance to speak on the keynote panel with Crestron’s VP of Residential John Clancy, Senior Showroom Manager Bryan Celli, and a local architect Shane Amex. It was an informative session focused on discussing luxury sales strategies and best practices in the residential home automation market.

2. Partner Showcase

Participating in the partner showcase with Crestron’s other premium vendors was a great way to have one-on-one time engagement with integrators. It was impactful to connect with prospective dealers to demo Josh and explain how straight-forward and powerful our Crestron integration is.

3. Networking

Tom Doherty (Crestron), Bridget (Josh.ai), Jaclyn and Donnie Boutwell (Media Systems in Houston), Kifton Vanemon (Crestron), Michelle Guss (Crestron), Bryan Celli (Crestron), and CEO Alex (Josh.ai)

One of the best parts of these conferences is the number of industry influencers and friends that are in one place at the same time. It is always great to meet new faces in addition to sharing innovative ideas with current partners.

4. Educational Classes

CEO Alex teaches a class on voice control

We always enjoy the chance to educate our industry. Teaching the class focused on implementing voice control in Crestron projects was a valuable experience for everyone involved. It was great to see the audience’s engagement and hear such positive feedback regarding our integrations.

5. Spending Time with the Crestron Team

Crestron has a phenomenal group of visionaries on the residential side of their business. Not only are they awesome to learn from, but they are also a blast to hang out with!

6. Pyng 2.0

We are excited for the direction that Crestron is going with Pyng 2.0. It aligns with our belief that a simple and intuitive experience should also carry over to the installation process for the integrator. Similar to how the Josh system operates, once the Pyng hub is online, it automatically connects to the devices on the network without having to program, compile, and upload a custom program.

7. Integration

Last but not least, the excitement around our current functionality and what is to come with the development of our integrations makes pairing Josh with Crestron an easy decision. Stay tuned for updates regarding our SIMPL and Pyng capabilities. We think you will like what is on the way!
