Our Director of Business Development, Casey, speaking at the Parks Associates Connections Summit

There seems to be a buzz word every CES that proliferates exhibitor booth messaging and the media’s coverage. In years past, “IoT” and “voice control” have been all the rage, with “AI” taking center stage in 2025. While Josh.ai was founded with AI at its core almost ten years ago, it is exciting to see how it is being adopted across the electronics landscape to enhance user experiences.

After a busy week in Las Vegas, here are a few favorite moments and products from CES!

Parks Associates Connections Summit đź—Ł

Connections Summit Panel

Josh is leading the smart home forward in the era of AI to orchestrate the technology in all aspects of your home to deliver an simple, private, and magical living experience. It was our pleasure to join the Connections Summit panel to discuss AI in the Smart Home: Applications and Ethics.

Nvidia Releases New GPUs (with Josh) đź‘€

Nvidia founder and CEO Jensen Huang unveiled the GeForce RTX 50, surpassing the RTX 4090 in performance, and introduced Agentic AI, a real-time assistant to streamline consumer workflows in his Monday keynote. Huang also showcased the Cosmos World Foundation Model and generative AI tools to advance robotics navigation. Among all of the buzz, there was also a special edition Nvidia PC with Josh!

Samsung Frame Pro TV đź–Ľ

The Frame has mastered interior aesthetics and style from the start, but there has always been room for improvement with its brightness and overall picture quality. The Frame Pro is is addressing screen performance in 2025 while improving upon its design, going wireless so that there will no longer be a thin wire running between the display and Samsung’s breakout box that houses the HDMI inputs and the TV’s processor.

The Frame Pro is also incorporating the newest AI-powered features included with Samsung’s other 2025 TV models. Specifically, there’s a dedicated button on the remote for activating click to search, which can show you who the actors are in a given scene, where that scene is taking place, or even the clothing the characters are wearing.

LG Transparent TV đź’¨

LG elegantly presented its collaboration with iconic design house Kartell to showcase the LG Signature OLED T. The revolutionary display effortlessly transitions from a transparent mode that offers an innovative and beautiful gallery experience to an opaque mode that provides perfect blacks, vibrant colors, and all the advantages that comes with an OLED TV.

At CES 2025, LG shared the 77-inch transparent TV is available for purchase at $60,000. It is only a matter of time until we see one integrating technology with design in a Josh project!

Robot Vacuums Learning New Tricks 🛸

Robot vacuums got a bunch of new, and sometimes strange, powers at CES 2025. None made a bigger impression than Roborock’s Saros Z70, which comes with a mechanical arm that can pick up socks, lift cords and grab other objects. The system also employs AI-driven object recognition to handle household items appropriately and includes pet detection features that modify its behavior around animals.

Beatbot introduced its AquaSense 2 Ultra, positioned as the world’s first AI-powered 5-in-1 robotic pool cleaner. Offering AI pool Mapping with 27 sensors, the system combines a front-facing camera, infrared sensors, ultrasonic sensors, and advanced AI algorithms to intelligently scan and precisely map the pool environment. In doing so, the robot adapts to complex pool shapes and dynamically adjusts cleaning paths for full coverage and efficient cleaning.

Ecovacs announced the GOAT A1–3000, a robotic lawn mower that utilizes a mix of technologies for navigation, including satellite-based positioning, front-facing LiDAR, and camera vision. Dual LiDAR systems helps it scan 360 degrees and create 3D images. The GOAT A1–3000 is the first robotic lawn mower that uses multiple navigation technologies to map out the area while mowing to avoid obstacles.

Phone “Toaster” Charger 🍞

This phone toaster isn’t actually a toaster, but it is the best way to pitch it. The Swippitt system is the most amusing and clever charging gadget to come out in a long time. The concept starts with a Swippitt Link battery case, which has a 3,500mAh cell in the back. It boosts your phone’s charge, and when you need some more power, you insert the phone, case and all, into the Swippitt (toaster) Hub. In two seconds, the hub swaps the battery in your case for a fresh one and you are good to go. There are five batteries in the hub that are charged and ready for when your phone needs a boost. Simply drop in your phone without any tethering or waiting to charge.

Like any convention, it was great to network with colleagues, network with new connections, and see fun innovative products in action. If we did not have a chance to connect or if you are going to be in Las Vegas for IBS/KBIS reach out to hello@josh.ai and we would be happy to connect.
