Winter is just around the corner and unfortunately for most people that’ll mean early mornings shoveling snow and late nights hugging the electric heater. But it doesn’t need to be this way.

At Josh, we believe that your home is only as good as its design and truth is most residential homes aren’t built to withstand the winter elements. So with the holidays quickly approaching, it’s the perfect time to rally up your kids, family, and friends to spend some of the coldest days of the year in a cozy, modern cabin designed and built to withstand and help you survive the freezing temperatures and heavy snowfall.

Before you begin your search and choose your winter escape, we’ve compiled 10 beautifully-designed winter homes to provide you with some inspiration and guidance.
